Updog was founded in 2015 with the launch of Scrooball, an innovative dog toy introduced by Jason McNulty via Kickstarter. The journey began with two brothers, fresh from earning their Plastics Engineering degrees, using the venture as a creative excuse to invest in injection molding equipment. From there, they developed a range of dog toys while offering injection molding services to other companies to grow their manufacturing operation.

In recent years Updog has been working with companies to create sustainable games and toys including InFUNity Tiles, and Tabletop gaming accessories, and other commodity products—all using recycled or bio-plastics.

Today, Updog continues to evolve, blending its roots in product development with a commitment to sustainable materials and pet toy innovation.

The contract engineering and manufacturing portion of the business now operates as McMolders.
